The central location here is peaceful, with excellent service that made my stay perfectly pleasant, making me want to return if in the area.

This was our fourth time to visit Cochem. The hotel has a PERFECT location just outside of the tourist packed town center. Our balcony was exceptionally large with a pristine view of the Mosel River and Cochem Castle. After a long day of bike riding, the bier garten was perfect for relaxing and having a nice glass of wine or beer. The bar area inside the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also offers a secure area for your bikes! This hotel has some of the highest user ratings and it deserves it!! The staff also speaks english.

Well, overall, this place was really nice. the staff here were super friendly and the service and food were great. I stayed in a room with a fair price and had a view of the castle! 🏰

This place is conveniently located close to the town center, castle, river, and a charming village on a hillside, providing a peaceful setting away from the main road.

We were parents travelling with an adult child (the trip was a university graduation present) and were given a separate building to accommodate our group of three. We had the top floor of this building and our room was excellent. We had a bedroom and a sitting room with television that also had the third bed. The bathroom was brand new and featured a shower stall. There was ample parking, too. The location of Stumbergers Hotel was good and we enjoyed a nice walk along the Mosel. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of delicious selections. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely book this hotel for a week-end getaway.

Great location with nice view over Mosel & castle and also very central to nearby locations/sightseeings. Great food (especially Mexican menu)!! Wide variety of breakfast buffet. Spacious room!! Loved the fresh coloured towels (white sooo boring!!) Definitief een aanrader!

The Stumberger host and staff were extremely helpful during our stay. Food and service at all meals was excellent. The hotel is a little out from the oldtown area of Cochem, yet a nice 20 minute walk along the Mosel river. The balcony for our room was an added surprise!
